Christian hate-pastor Steven Anderson had a few more words of bigotry to share with us late last night about the Orlando mass shooting at a gay nightclub, after his earlier video celebrated the idea that there were “50 less pedophiles in this world.”
People like this guy and the shooter are proof that there is no god, especially not a loving one.
I have a feeling the shooting and the hateful actions of religious nutters like this guy will have (deserved) detrimental blowback on religion in general. Strong belief does seem to turn some people into monsters.

I agree. I cannot imagine any loving person, let alone a supposedly perfect god, say the things that come out of his mouth.
And herein lies the problem I have with religion and god. Anyone can claim to be a believer, and interpret holy texts in any way they choose, including ways that hurt other people. How can a perfect, loving or merciful god allow this?
The more reasonable response is: there is no god.
Anyone who reads the Scriptures with sincerity and rightly dividing will not use His Word to harm anyone.
God exists and people always try to corrupt a good thing if they hate it or do not like what it says.

Good and bad boils down to the individual then doesnt it? Good people, sane people, will act read the good bits and act kindly. Bad, insane people will do the opposite.
In this case, I question the need for god. And if god is do great why would he/she allow his/her word to contain evil stuff, and be open to corruptred readings? He/she should know ahead this is what would happen. And should have prevented it. Etc.
I would agree. He is unlike many of the nice christians I know. But now you have the True Scotsman fallacy. Anyone can call themselves a christian and purport to speaking for god etc. There is no way to know. God’s word is open to interpretation, unclear, and contain both good and evil bits. What gives? Isnt god perfect? Why is the word so unrealiably interpretable? Why allow so many to speak on his/her behalf and perpetrate evil in his/her name?
Gods’ Word is reliable, but the people reading are not, and are not perfect.
I am not perfect either just in case you didn’t know.
But I trust Jesus Christ, His Word and the Holy Spirit.
People always wrest things to their own destruction, going after un-Godly gain, and fame etc..
Without wishing to say too much about Mr Anderson,
he preaches a Post-Trib false doctrine.
I have listened to Mr Bryan Denlinger and his teaching regarding the Pre-Trib
really called ~ Pre-time of Jacobs’ Trouble ~ is excellent.
Mr Denlinger gives at least a hundred verses of Scripture ~KJV~ right through all of the Pauline epistles.
